Details
François Heyer was born in Mulhouse in 1954, a self-educated musician, he begins working in several formations from Rhythm & Blues in 1980. He takes part in the adventure '1 Peu Fou' (1 little crazy) with Daniel Hauger, a sextet who during 10 years will perform all over East of France (Festivals ' Jazz in Mulhouse ' or' in Strasbourg and 'Jazz in Franche-Comté'. When he meets The Marc Ullrich Quintet, he will experience a bit with the Hardware-Bop trend. In 1994 he settles in Strasbourg where he works with the saxophonist Philippe Aubry among the Orphéoniste Orchestra. He meets there the guitarist Jean-Christophe Kaufmann with whom he creates the 'Da-Go-Bert' in 1995. He also collaborated in ' Vorwarts Harmonic Blas Band' brass band directed by Domenica Courtadon, with Claude Barthélémy, F Charles and K Zeleri in Music Action in Vandoeuvre.
